"I like to use vibrant colour, organic form, pattern and texture in my work and enjoy creating glasswork infused with my own identity but with a persona of its own. I love

the material and the technical challenges involved. It is a medium that provides me with endless opportunities for learning and exploration. My understanding of the different processes allows me to translate my design ideas into unique decorative glass art."

"I am a glass artist and my journey with glass began in 1998 when as a Graduate of Glasgow University I had been studying the history of stained glass and I embraced

my growing interest to learn the techniques of glasswork for myself.

First, I took a class at Glasgow School of Art and then went on to train in Architectural and Decorative Glasswork full time for three years at Glasgow College of Building and

Printing.

My work consists of traditional leaded stained glass design; glass mosaic design; kiln fired fused and slumped glasswork and fused dichroic glass jewellery

I like to use vibrant colour, organic form, pattern and texture in my work and enjoy creating glasswork infused with my own identity but with a persona of its own. I love

the material and the technical challenges involved. It is a medium that provides me with endless opportunities for learning and exploration. My understanding of the different processes allows me to translate my design ideas into unique decorative glass art.

My love of the decorative arts and the natural world around me provide inspiration, while the colour, light and texture of the glass presents an endless palette for my creative

expression. My goal is to bring that colour, light and inspiration into your life by creating aesthetically pleasing decorative glasswork".
