Craft Town Presence At Tatton Park

West Kilbride boasts an active Environmental Group that has been instrumental in providing an amazing display of floral displays and hanging baskets that have helped the town reach six finals of “Scotland in Bloom”.
This year the group decided to submit a garden design by architect Angus Starling for inclusion in the Chelsea Flower Show. Whilst not successful on this occasion, the design was recommended to the panel at Tatton Park, who selected the design for this year’s show.
The Royal Horticultural Societies’ Flower Show at Tatton Park is set in over 20 acres of magnificent parkland and offers a wealth of gardening opportunities. An exclusive mix of design ideas, horticultural excellence and great shopping, the show includes several enticing marquees. The RHS National Flowerbed competition, the Plant Plaza and the Country Living Magazine Pavilion showcasing all the very best arts, crafts and local produce makes this one of the biggest events in the gardening calendar.
Craft Town Scotland has been reserved a stand in the Country Living Magazine Pavilion. An exhibition of work created by West Kilbride’s designer-makers will be supported by promotional presentations. Sponsorship is currently being sought from corporate and individual supporters.
